Art for Autism

was a success. Thanks to everyone who attended and donated to Adam's Hope.  We raised over $7,000.00 and we were able to help yet another family in the Quinte Region acquire what they need to help their children with autism.  The money has also enabled us to support the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.  Many children with autism attend the Y camps in the summer and many of the families rely on the campaign being funded so that their children can participate in Summer Camp. We have also donated towards the Links to Learning Summer Reading Program which is an excellent program that supports and fosters a love of reading among all children including children with autism. Finally, the money raised at Art for Autism has enabled Adam's Hope to have a summer Art, Movement and Music workshop for kids withe autism.  Please call 613 243 3647 for details on this or e-mail info@adamshope.org.  The workshop is currently scheduled for the week of August 9-13 and has space for a maximum of 10 children. Another week will be added depending on interest.
